And they aren’t just made up either….these are campers’ favorite recipes from all over the country, tried and true, cooked and eaten. With over 700+ recipes conveniently listed by category, by time, and by keyword search, you can literally go on 100’s of campouts and hike’s without eating the same thing twice. This is the most comprehensive camping recipe app on the market!!
Quick recipes, long recipes, backpack recipes, large recipes, meat recipes, veggie recipes, dessert recipes, and even survival recipes! And that’s just a few. You just have to search it, tap it, and there’s the ingredients and all the instructions how to prepare and eat.
This is our 1.1 version, new and improved. Now as usual, if you’re a serious camper, way out there in no man’s land…. we made sure to keep the entire data base on the app and on your phone so the signal isn’t necessary to prepare your grub. But for you Tweeters and Facebookers, if you find something that you want to send to a friend, now you can with a couple of new share features. So eat hearty my friends!!

Good job, lots of good stuff. One nice addition would be user reviews and comments of recipes. Pictures, built in timer, numbered steps, meal planner would be nice to. Please organize the recipes that are duplicates and variations better. It also would be nice to sort by difficulty and cooking method (e.g. Campfire, grill, slow cooker etc.) Happy camping/hiking.

Too many recipes to count! Reading through some of them, I cant help thinking, "Why didnt I think of that one?" Straight-forward ingredients with straight-forward cooking methods. Forget the woods, Ill be using this to feed my four kids at home! How many ways can you cook a potato? Im not sure, but I think almost every possibility is in here. The "Emergency Survival Food" category is really informative. I had no idea Cattails were edible! "Ant Flambe", great idea. Combining that and the Mint Smores might be fun too. Nice interface. Clean and easy to read. The search feature is a nice touch. When all I have is some trout, lemon and herbs, I need to know what my cooking options are before the fire dies down. I look forward to putting some of these recipes to good use at home and on the road. Nice job, lads!
This is a great app with tons of recipes. I cant wait until it warms up so we can try some of these out. The kids will love trying different recipes and the nice thing is that the recipes are so simple that even the kids can do them.
I love how organized this is; it will be so simple to find a recipe when on the trail! I cant wait to show my dad- hell love all the different trail mixes!
